eRezlife Application Process for New User
(Current UTK Students with a netID and password)
Step 1: eRezlife account creation
- Click on “Sign in with your school account”
- Enter your UTK netID and password
- Complete 2 Factor Authentication (DuoPush)
- Once you’ve authenticated, it will log you into eRezLife.
- Locate the Resident Assistant job application and complete all sections as indicated.
For existing eRezlife users
Step 1: Accessing Staff Application
- Click on “Resident Life Management” drop down at top left. Click on “Application & Info”

Alternative eRezlife Application process for New User
(ONLY for Prospective Students or Students without a UTK netID and password)
Step 1: eRezlife account creation
- E-mail Steve Syoen, Assistant Director for Residence Life, at ssyoen@utk.edu with your name, email, and position you are applying for (Resident Assistant or Office Assistant)
- Once your account is created, you will receive an email from eRezlife with a link to reset/create your password (within 48 hours of e-mailing). Keep an eye on your junk/spam folder. If you do not get the link within 48 hours, email Steve at ssyoen@utk.edu
- Click on the link in your email from eRezLife to create a password
- Create password
- Go to eRezlife
- Enter username and password into eRezlife login box
- Click “sign in”
