Volunteer Bridge Students

“I am in the Volunteer Bridge Living & Learning Community because while taking classes on one campus and engaging in student life here at the University of Tennessee, being part of that community helps bridge the gap between the two campuses.” -Brandon, Volunteer Bridge student

University Housing is excited to welcome you to the Volunteer Bridge Program!  Living on campus is an important component to your experience, and we are happy you are joining the Volunteer Bridge family!

University Housing at the University of Tennessee supports Volunteer Bridge students through the Volunteer Bridge Living & Learning Community, offering the opportunity to live on UT’s campus with other Volunteer Bridge students.

Housing is on a first-come first-served basis. Volunteer Bridge students are highly encouraged to confirm enrollment by May 1 and complete a housing contract to be eligible for on-campus housing.

Shortly after confirming your enrollment, University Housing will send an email notification indicating that your contract has been activated. Please follow the instructions below to complete your contract:

  1. Log into My UT Housing using your NetID and password.
  2. If you have forgotten your password, click here and follow the instructions provided. Once you re-set your password, return to step one.

Summer assignments are made by our housing staff, and assignment notifications will be emailed to students in June.  Students will need to complete both summer and fall housing contracts, and students that participate in Room Selection for the fall term will have the same assignment for the summer term.

University Housing is excited to invite our residents to find their roommate and meet other residents through the RoomSync app on Facebook!

Click the link below to add the app and find your roommate. We recommend that you not click the link from your mobile device; wait until you are in front of a computer. Don’t worry, there is a mobile app that you can add after joining RoomSync.

Once you have matched with your roommate on RoomSync, you will need to make your request official by visiting requesting your roommate through My UT Housing.

Happy Syncing!
