The University of Tennessee College of Law enjoys a
rich tradition of providing sound legal education and
boasts the longest-running legal clinical program
in the country. Founded in 1890, the college
prepares tomorrow’s lawyers through clinical and
skills training, innovative classroom teaching, legal
writing, and professional values.
Open to all first-year students who are interested in attending law school
upon graduation. Pre-Law LLC students will be required to enroll in specific
first-year courses/sections in the fall semester. Pre-Law LLC students are
also encouraged to enroll in the Introduction to Law and the Legal Profession
course open to all undergraduate students. Additionally, there will be
several community-specific events and activities at the College of Law that
participants are required to attend.
